Description :

The Firex 6045 are residential carbon monoxide alarms. Each unit has an 85 decibel horn, test/reset button, and three separate power/fault/alarm LED indicators.

Firex carbon monoxide alarms utilize biomimetic sensing technology. Biomimetic sensors react to CO similarly to the way hemoglobin in human blood reacts.

This technology is based on a rate of change principle - monitoring the concentration of carbon monoxide (CO) in the surrounding environ- ment over time. These units meet the most current UL requirements.
